2.  Contents of the meeting

In 2021, the grounding of EVER GIVEN in the Suez Canal in Egypt led to congestion of international transportation routes, which greatly affected the timeliness and economy of the international supply chain. At that time, the whole world was looking for temporary alternatives, and international rail transport was one of the advantageous solutions at that time.

In recent years, the demand for freight transportation has been increasing, especially the international railway transportation from Vietnam to China has received a lot of attention. It can be seen that the export of fresh agricultural products is most popular via the Dong Dang (Lang Son)-Bang Xiang (Guangxi) or Haiphong-Kaiwei (China) routes. developed.

Relying on the advantages of railway extension, Vietnam Railways cooperates with China Railway Logistics and Transportation Company to quickly resolve customs clearance procedures and promote the export of goods. It is convenient and fast to export through China through international railways.

Due to the large population and insufficient domestic food supply in China, the planting area and aquaculture area in China have decreased sharply, resulting in Vietnam becoming one of the largest commodity export markets. Vietnam, especially fresh produce.

Some products exported to China:

– Fruits and other fresh goods: watermelon, dragon fruit, banana, mango, tapioca starch. In addition, lychee, longan, rambutan, jackfruit and other commodities, but the quantity is small.

– Increased rice export production.

– Seafood products such as fish, shrimp, and squid also have many advantages and competitions.

To understand the market demand, today, February 25, Sino-Vietnam Sinotrans was honored to receive Shandong High-speed Qilu China-Europe Railway Express Qilu Operation Co., Ltd. to discuss the development direction of the basic and key points of the railway in Vietnam, and to help the development of Vietnam’s supply chain industry.

Sinotrans has been established in Vietnam for 12 years. Its main business sectors cover international supply chain, international freight forwarding, shipping agency, and professional logistics sector; railway transportation is one of the professional logistics sectors developed by Sinotrans Logistics. The railway transported by Sinotrans Sinotrans has exported goods from Shenlang to Anyuan to downlights to China, such as tires, bag packaging, coconut shells and other goods. However, because the railway sector is still a relatively new mode of transportation in Vietnam, the Chinese railway train and the Vietnamese railway train have not been fully connected. It is necessary to replace the international railway train at Anyuan Station, and there is a shortage of box resources. There is a lot of room for development in the railway transportation sector in Vietnam.
