简体中文On March 16, 2023, at Trang Bom train station, Dong Nai received a very special train from Shandong – China. The QiLu train is organized by Asia-U QiLu Cargo Co., Ltd. of Shandong Express Group and operates a rail transport route from Qingdao City (China) to Vietnam.

Opportunities for cooperation and investment between Vietnam and China
Since the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) was implemented on January 1, 2022, trade between China and the 10 ASEAN countries and other four-party member countries has become closer. Central Europe Railway (Qilu) has opened new routes from Shandong to Hanoi, Vietnam, Vientiane, Laos, Luang Prabang, Laos and other Southeast Asian routes, regularly exploiting products and services such as “Japan-Korea high-speed train route”, “Shanghai cooperation high speed train”, “China-Laos international cargo ship”
Thanks to a series of preferential policies after the entry into force of RCEP, the effect of the Central Europe (Qilu) high-speed railway and the cargo aggregation effect continued to emerge, and a new channel for intermodal transport trade. RCEP protocol has been established. Today, we gather at Trang Bom station, Dong Nai province, Vietnam to witness the arrival of the first China high-speed railway Qilu·Shandong, China-Dong Nai, Vietnam.
This train is an important achievement of Shandong Express Group in actively responding to jointly building the “One Belt One Road” initiative and opening up a railway transport channel between Shandong province East and RCEP member countries to serve and ensure the full implementation of RCEP, cooperation is of great significance.

Image after the QiLu train docked at Trang Bom station, Dong Nai has opened up the potential to attract and develop the economy and exchange goods between the two countries Vietnam – China through the model of rail transport.
This is also considered as a new stepping stone for Dong Nai province to continue realizing the transshipment warehouse in the southern region of Vietnam. Because Dong Nai province has exploited and planned a total field of transshipment warehouses with an area of 615 hectares, which is one of the largest warehouses in Southeast Asia.
